- 1 cup long-grain or basmati rice
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Yellow Rice:
- In a medium pot, combine the rice, broth, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and fluffy.
- Stir in the butter and set aside, keeping warm.

- In a bowl, toss the steak pieces and shrimp with jerk seasoning, minced garlic, lime juice, and olive oil.
- Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
