Description

Welcome to a culinary adventure that combines creamy indulgence with the sweet allure of autumn! Our Easy Caramelized Pear & Burrata Bites with Pomegranate & Nut Crunch are not just a feast for the taste buds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe pears (halved and cored)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 100 g burrata cheese (or fresh mozzarella as a substitute)
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tbsp mixed nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, roughly chopped)
  • 12 sprigs of fresh thyme (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional, for drizzle)
  • Pinch of freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

1️⃣ Caramelize the pears:

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add the pear halves, cut side down, and drizzle with honey. Sprinkle cinnamon over the pears and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the cut side is golden and caramelized. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes to warm through. Remove and set on a serving plate.

2️⃣ Prepare the nuts:

  1. In the same skillet, lightly toast the chopped nuts over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.

3️⃣ Assemble the bites:

  1. Place a generous spoonful of burrata on each pear half. Top with a sprinkle of toasted nuts and a few pomegranate seeds.

4️⃣ Garnish and serve:

  1. Drizzle with maple syrup (if using) and add a pinch of black pepper for a hint of spice. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs for an elegant touch. Serve warm or at room temperature.
