Ingredients
Scale
For the Lobster:
- 1 pound cooked lobster meat (chopped (tail or claw))
- 1 tablespoon butter
For the Pasta and Sauce:
- 12 ounces spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2️⃣ Prepare the Lobster:
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the lobster meat and sauté for 2-3 minutes until warmed through. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
4️⃣ Combine Pasta and Lobster:
- Toss the cooked pasta into the creamy sauce, ensuring it’s well coated. Gently fold in the sautéed lobster meat.
- Stir in lemon zest for a hint of brightness.
5️⃣ Serve and Garnish:
- Plate the pasta and lobster, then sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with crusty bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
