- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste

1️⃣ Prepare the Scallops:
- Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Sear the Scallops:
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until they develop a deep golden crust.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, lime juice, and lime zest. Stir well.
4️⃣ Incorporate Cilantro:
- Stir in the chopped cilantro and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5️⃣ Serve and Enjoy:
- Pour the creamy cilantro lime sauce over the scallops and garnish with extra cilantro.
- Serve hot with rice, pasta, or crusty bread!
